[Twin Lakes population in World Almanac]

Generally, we find the World Almanac a reliable reference source.

However, when we went to look up something on page 388 of the 2004 edition, we discovered that Twin Lakes had undergone a population explosion, albeit one that escaped the notice of anyone in or near Twin Lakes.

The "(c)" after a town's name means that it is not incorporated, and thus has no formal boundaries.
