Dear Editor,

I frequently learn something each month by reading Colorado Central magazine. For example, in September's issue, I learned that Viagra is dangerous and addictive ("Appalled by the law," p.36). I did not know that.

Until now, I always thought that Viagra enabled some folks to participate in a different addiction. I did not know it was an addiction in and of itself. I am enlightened.

With the exception of cigarettes, the other items (perhaps even marijuana) have redeeming values - if not abused in a dangerous and addictive manner. These are not inherently evil, though their abuses may be.

It would appear that G.K. is upset more by being "snitched" on and losing his Mary Jane than anything else. His energy would be better spent in changing laws than weakly justifying breaking them.
