Breckenridge town officials have added $360,000 of funding to their talk about boosting heritage tourism. The new Breckenridge Heritage Alliance is to become an umbrella for various existing organizations that operate museums or promote art or history, and also has responsibility for planning the 150-year anniversary of Breckenridge as a mining camp, reports the Summit Daily News.
