Ed & Martha,

So Salida is in the top 10 most affordable retirement towns in the United States, according to U.S. News & World Report. Well, excuse me, but I'm not sure what constitutes "affordable." It must be the "baby-boomers" who have struck it rich because I'm sure I couldn't afford to buy my present dwelling at today's prices.
