During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will continue to enable families to commemorate the life of a loved one in meaningful ways, while at the same time adhering to the guidance issued by federal, state, and local public health officials. Service options may include limited viewings and live webcasting. Families may still choose either burial or cremation. Currently, our business hours are Monday through Saturday, 8am – 5 pm. We will be closed on Sundays to allow our staff to be vigilant about providing safe and clean facilities for families and their guests. As always, you may contact us 24 hours a day by telephone at 316.262.3435 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cozine Memorial Group recognizes and embraces the trend towards end of life rituals that are environmentally sensitive and eco-friendly. We welcome the opportunity to discuss “green” or “natural” funeral service options that allow you to have a fitting and meaningful tribute while enabling you to leave a lighter footprint on the planet.
There are many possible “shades” of green when planning a green funeral. This may include no embalming or embalming with formaldehyde-free products; the use of biodegradable clothing, shroud or caskets; using recycled paper products; gathering in a natural setting; and the use of natural burial practices as cemeteries allow. Eco-friendly options for cremation include biodegradable urns, scattering urns and urns that literally grow into living memorials such as a tree or wildflowers.
