Beard, Alfred E., 69, retired City of Wichita Employee, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Visitation with family present 6-8:00pm, Monday, Broadway Mortuary. Al graduated from North High School, attended Emporia State University and was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Loralee and parents, Oscar and Evelyn Beard, survivors include his daughter, Dee Dee (Jeff) Beard -Navarro-Saville of Wichita; sons, Scott (Elizabeth) Beard-Navarro of Wichita and David Scott (Heather) Carter of Estes Park, CO; grandchildren, Josh, Zach and Shannon Saville of Wichita, Tyler, Austin and Payton Navarro of Wichita, Kylie and Micah McCreery-Carter of Estes Park, CO.
