Annette Beame Hedke WICHITA, KS–Annette Beame Hedke, 60, went home to be with her Lord on February 5, 2015. Funeral services 1:30 pm, Monday, February 9th, at Central Christian Church co-officiated with L Chaim B Yeshua Congregation. Burial will follow at Kensington Gardens. Annette was a one in a billion creation. She was selfless, with a servant s heart as big as they come. She was a Proverbs 31 woman who had very few peers with her Biblical knowledge and understanding, which she shared with so many people. As a sister to her siblings, she had wonderfully close relationships; as a daughter, her parents knew they had a gem. Over 33 years of marriage brought her and her beloved husband, Dennis Eugene Hedke, two beautiful children, and a grandchild on the way. As a wife, she consistently demonstrated every facet of love and care. As a mother, she gave everything she had to nourish and protect. As a friend, she gave counsel and humor. She has deeply touched the hearts of so many people and her testimony will live on as she is remembered as a woman after God s own heart. We know she is full of joy in heaven, where she always belonged. She was an angel here on earth to all of those who knew her. In scripture, all good prophets go home so early, but that is not to say it wasn t the right time. What Annette always taught was that this life isn t about us, but the God she loved and knew. She was deeply loved by her husband and her family and we will deeply miss the loss of her stunning personality that shined through in a beauty that never faded. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Eugene Hedke; son, Jacob Christopher (Danielle); daughter, Reasha Christine; parents, Fran and Milton Beame; sister, Candace Gabriel (Wendell); brothers, Larry Beame (Carolyn) and Steven Wolfson (Kelly); father-in-law, Arnold Hedke (Betty); sisters-in-law, Mary Eberwein (Len) and Fran Bard (Jim); brothers-in-law, Mike, Tom and Mark Hedke; nieces, Kimberly (Derrick), Rachael (Demetri), Amanda, Shawna, Mariah, Kellie and Madison; nephews, Nick, Michael, Teddy, Eddie, Alex, Brennan, Shane and Spencer; great nieces, Tiana and Hannah and great nephews, Nathan and Isaac. Memorials have been established with Light and Mercy, www.lightandmercy.com and MJAA Joseph Project, www.mjaa.org. Share condolences at www.CozineMemorial.com. Services by Broadway Mortuary.
