Antonia Vargas Ortega, 93, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026. Visitation will be from 6-8pm, Thursday, February 19 at Broadway Mortuary. Rosary will be at 9:30am, Friday, February 20, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Funeral Mass will begin at 10am, Friday, February 20, also at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Antonia is preceded in death by her parents, Ponciano Vargas and Magdalena Ortega; husband, Ramon Perez-Rivera; son, Roberto Perez; daughter, Maria (Octavio, Sr.) Del Refugio Perez-Bautista; brother, Juan Vargas; and sisters, Sara Vargas-Ortega, Maria Vargas, and Maria Del Refugio-Vargas. She is survived by sons, Juan (Maria) Perez, and Miguel Perez; daughter, Antonia Perez; sisters, Juana Vargas, and Ofelia Vargas; grandchildren, Crystal (Jaxson), Octavio Jr., Jasmine, Ghisselle, Destiny, Bianca, Giovanny, Jessica, Johnny, Vanessa, Cassandra, Kelly (Dillon), Daisy (Israel), and Jamie (Junior); great-grandchildren, Xavier, Israel, Mercedes, Ximena, Tavio, Esmeralda, Israel, Isabella, Jesus, Esperansa, Johnny Jr., Isabel, Ismael, Amara, Maya, Lyanna, Castiel, Estela, Aneliyah, Eliyana, Alina, and Anahi.
