Hiegert, Betty “The Shoe Lady”, 87, retired Saleswoman, working at Johnston’s, Fair’s Shoes and Security Real Estate. Betty passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017. Visitation 6:00pm, with Rosary, 7:00pm, Thursday, both at Broadway Mortuary. Funeral Service 10:30am, Friday, St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 3642 N. Ridge Rd. Preceded in death by husband, F. F. “Peanuts” Hiegert; parents, Oscar and Nancy Eicher; brothers, Dan and Carl Eicher and sisters, Viola Stephen and Helen Hannan. Survivors include daughters, Judy (Ron) Fiegel and Cheryl (Warren) Teasley; son, Roger (Catherine) Hiegert; sister, Minnie Bell Jones; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
