Betty J Pruitt, 81, passed away Friday, May 21st, 2021 at home with family. Graveside service will be 12:00pm, Wednesday, May 26th at White Chapel Cemetery. Preceded in death by husband, J.C. Pruitt; parents, Hazel and Hamilton Lewis; father, William Willis; sons, Lamar Ashley, Ronald Gene Ashley, and Jerry Pruitt; daughter, Beverly Ashley; 2 great-grandchildren, Caylee, and Nicholas; two brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include son, Ronnie Ashley; grandchildren, Micheal (Keri) Ashley, Lorra (Chris) Ashley, Wesley Ashley, Krystal (Ernie) Ashley, Johnathon Ashley, Robert Ashley, and Betty Ashley; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild, and sisters, Darlene (James) Chisolm, and Shirley (Dennis) Gray.
