Betty June Townsend, 89, entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, April 3, 2022. Visitation with family will be 6-8pm, Friday, April 8 at Broadway Mortuary. Graveside service will be at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 9, at Maple Grove Cemetery. Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Franklin Townsend; parents, Jack and Denzil Shannon; son, Bryan Townsend; daughter-in-law, Susan Townsend; son-in-law, Leo Cook; brother-in-law, Carson Longmire; and nephews, David Shannon and Gordon Foreman. She is survived by children, Janet Cook, Jeff (Elizabeth) Townsend, Mary Young, and David Townsend; siblings, Ruth Longmire, and Bob (Jenny) Shannon; grandchildren, Daniel (Meaza) Cook, Tiffany Young, Amy Townsend, and Deasy (Jesus) Contreras; great-granchildren, Ayden, Kasey, Neiley, and Pablo.
