Betty Ruth Whitwell, 77, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 27, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. A committal ceremony will follow at Greenwood Cemetery-Wichita. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, RG Bowling and Gloria Holtry; sister, Mary Pawley; grandson, Jerrid Whitwell; and former spouse, Edwin Whitwell. Survivors include her children, Eddy Whitwell (Janie) and Dana Whitwell; grandchildren, Josh, John, Brandon, Lauren, and Tara; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Jacob, Jerrid, Allie, Austin, Layton, Harper, Rylie, Chloe, and Dawson.
