Young, Betty Joann, 79, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at Broadway Mortuary and Graveside Service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at Athens Cemetery in Ionia, KS. She was preceded in death by loving husband, Leonard Young; and brothers, Robert and Fred Rooker. Survivors include sons, Leslie Young and Ralph Sprayberry; daughters, Melody Addleman, Penny Hubbell and Tammy Ashcraft; brother, Boyd Rooker; sisters, Fern Mattheyer and Dorothy James; sixteen grandchildren; twenty eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.
