Billy Poore
June 29, 1930 — October 2, 2017
Poore, Billy John, 87, retired Carpenter and Korean War USMC Veteran, passed away October 2, 2017. Visitation with family will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 10, at Broadway Mortuary and Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 11, at NewSpring Church in the North Auditorium. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Augusta, KS. He was preceded in death by beloved wife, Norma Jean; parents, Marion Joseph and Dicie Marie Poore; son, Raymond Joseph; and sisters, Iris and Helen. Survivors include sons, Billy Wayne (Shari), Roy Dale (Michelle Joan), Keenan Dan (Brenda) and Quincy Gene (Judith); brothers, Pete, Paul, Don, Joe and Jay; 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
