Smith, B. Joan (Barbe), 91, retired Boeing and KG&E secretary, died September 11, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, September 28, at Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Barbe and Charles Smith; daughter, Georgiann Beall Tanner; son, Roger Barbe and sister, Kathleen Cook Shidler. Joan is survived by her sons, Rick (Vickii) Barbe and Mike Barbe, both of Wichita; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
