She was born June 5, 1929 in Horizonte, Durango, Mexico to Victor Minjares and Emilia Gueta Minjares. She was preceded in death by her husband; Manuel Meza Valenzuela. Survivors include her sons; Pedro Meza, Luis Meza, and Mario Meza; daughters; Maria Elena Robles, Josefina Vizcarro, Norma Lidia Meza and Sara Alicia Collar; brother; Carmen Minjares; twenty-nine grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
