Brian Joseph Konecny

Brian Joseph Konecny, 46, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023. Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Sandlin and grandparents, Gene and Katherine Tenbrink. Survivors include his wife, Mandy Konecny; son, Walter Konecny; mother, Linda Zollars (Larry); siblings, John Sandlin (Kim) and Lisa Christy (Steve); father, Carl Konecny; and half-sister, Karsyn Rauber (Aaron). Brian was in his seventeenth year of being a firefighter for the Wichita Fire Dept., and was an Engine Driver for fifteen of those years. He was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 am, Monday, August 21, at Cozine Life Events Center, 11500 E. 21st St. N. Share condolences at www.cozine.com.
