May 5, 2003 — July 20, 2017
Benitez, Carlos, 14, Truesdell Middle School Student, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family after a brave battle with cancer on July 20, 2017. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Tuesday at Broadway Mortuary with Funeral Service 10:30 am, Wednesday at Central Christian Church. He was preceded in death by great-grandpa, Lupe Torres; and uncle “Bucho” Hernandez. He is survived by loving parents Erica and Jose Perez and Daniel Benitez; siblings, Diego Benitez, Felipe Benitez, and Gabriela Perez; grandparents, Oscar and Mary Hernandez; aunts, Juana, Jessica, and Patricia Hernandez; and uncle, Joel Hernandez.
