Carlos Vega

Carlos Vega-Fierro, 49, passed away on July 2, 2024 in Wichita. Carlos was born in El Fuerte, Sinaloa Mexico to Jesus Vega-Romero and Maria Consuelo-Fierro. Carlos attended college in El Fuerte, Mexico and eventually began working in HVAC. When Crarlos wasn't working he enjoyed fishing, long walks, cooking, and watching telenovelas. 

Carlos is preceded in death by his father, Jesus Vega-Romero; mother-in-law, Jean Downing; and father-in-law Richard "Dick" Downing. He is survived by his wife, Dana Vega; daughter, Julia; step-children, Callie Scott (Miles) McQuilliams, Cody Scott, and Dalton (Lauren) Scott; mother, Maria Consuelo-Fierro; brother, Gerardo (Patricia) Vega-Fierro; brother in law, David (Linda) Downing; siblings, Maria (Marcelo Bastida) Rosario Vega, Armando (Irma) Vega-Fierro, German (Lolis) Vega-Fierro, Gilardo (Marta) Vega-Fierro; half sister, Angelina Vega; and nieces and nephew, Maria, Daniella, and Gerardo.

A time to visit with the family will take place from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, July 8 at Broadway Mortuary. Recitation of The Holy Rosary will take place at 7:00pm that night. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00am on Tuesday, July 9 at Blessed Sacrament Church with another Recitation of The Holy Rosary 15 minutes prior. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
