Carol Trager

Carol Diane (Henneke) Trager was born August 9, 1955 in Enid, Oklahoma to Walter Lee and Hilda (Rueter) Henneke and passed from this life into her heavenly home on August 4, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.

Carol graduated from Enid High School in 1973, Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas in 1977, and Wesley School of Nursing in 1979. She retired May 17, 2022 from Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas after 43 years of service in Pediatrics Intensive Care and Surgery.

In 1983 she married Rick Trager. They made their home in Wichita, Kansas and were married 32 years before Rick passed away in 2015.

Carol loved her Lord and was a member of Tree of Life Church in Wichita. She also enjoyed music and sang with the Wichita Choral Society and Bethany College Oratorio Society for a number of years.

Survivors include her brother David L. Henneke and his wife Sharon of Enid, nephew Cameron Henneke of Boulder, Colorado, niece Amber Turner of Germantown Hills, Illinois, two great nieces Molly and Tessa Turner, her Aunt Liz (Rueter) Holgate of Beatrice, Nebraska, and numerous cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda Sue Henneke, and husband Rick.
