Cathy Redburn

Cathy Ilene Redburn, 65, Co-owner of the Rental Ranch, passed away Wednesday, November, 16, 2022. Memorial service will be 10:00 Monday, November 21, 2022 at the Woodland United Methodist Church. She will be deeply missed and remembered by her husband of 36 years, Mel Redburn; daughter, Melody Redburn and husband, Mike Brown; son, Darren and wife, Tiffany Redburn; step-daughter, Gina Redburn; grandsons, Edward Foust, Owen and Jace Redburn. Her sisters, Vickie Hawkes and husband Frank, Bonnie Compton, and Linda Moore also survive her. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Margaret Moore, her father and mother-in-law Melvin and Opal Redburn, brother, Ron Moore and sister, Judy White.

Cathy cared deeply about her family, friends, and all living creatures and she took great care of those around her. She loved blues music and went to hundreds of shows with Mel over the years after meeting through the Wichita Blues Society. She loved spending time outdoors in her garden and in the Flint Hills. Cathy adored her grandsons as their Mema and spent many days with them playing, reading, and cuddling. She was so very proud of her kids and poured herself into them and Mel. She will be missed dearly.
