Christine "Chris" Martin

Christine Marie Martin (Campbell)August 14, 1956 – December 30, 2025

Christine Marie Martin, lovingly known as Chris, passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 69. She was born on August 14, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas, where she spent much of her life surrounded by family, friends, and many loved ones.

Chris worked for many years at her family’s business, Campbell’s Phoenix Greenhouse. She had a natural gift for working with plants and took great pride in nurturing them, but she also cherished the opportunity to work alongside her family.

She was very compassionate and always cared for those around her. She was strong willed, and never backed down from a challenge, but she always did so with grace and kindness. She loved cooking, searching for rocks, trivia and game nights, traveling, and preserving the environment. Above all, Chris enjoyed being a helpful daughter, caring sister, loving wife, nurturing mother, and supporting friend.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Gene Campbell, her Grandmother, Lena Mae Barton, and her Mother in-law, Bessie Martin.

Chris is survived by her mother, Barbara; her devoted husband, Don; her daughter, Jessie; her son, Matt; her son-in-law, Jonathan; her daughter-in-law, Bekah; and her father in-law, Tommy. She will be forever missed by her family, friends, and by the many lives she touched with her kindness and love.
