Claire Hartley

Claire Elise Hartley, 17, was born July 25, 2001 and passed away Monday, December 17, 2018. Claire is survived by her parents, Scott and Gwen Hartley; brother, Cal Hartley; sister, Lola Hartley; grandparents, Jim and Cheryl Hartley and Jack and Lynn Pohlenz; uncles and aunts, Brett and Lynda Hartley, Tom and Margo Wagner, Jill Pohlenz; cousins, Maranda, Ali, Elisabeth, Christina, Madeline, and Thomas. We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to her special caregivers, Tracey Sims, Rachel Johnstone, Charcie Cook, and Hannah Seirer; and nurses, Lucille Chapman, LuQueeda Franklin, and Beverly Bruce. Claire's disabilities never limited her life. She was pure joy, 100% love, and straight-up magic. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. A celebration of Claire's life will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, December 22, at East Heights United Methodist Church, 4407 E. Douglas.
