Cleason Leroy Sinclair, a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Monday, May 23rd at the age of 97.
He was born on March 11, 1925 in Jetmore, Kansas. Cleason was predeceased by his wife, Martha Estelle Reed Sinclair whom he married on March 15, 1975 in Raton, N.M. He was previously married to Natalie Knoefler in September of 1946.
He is survived by his son Ronald Sinclair and wife Deborah of Wichita; stepson Charles Reed and wife Paula of Monument, Colo; stepdaughter Sandy Ingle whose husband Bob has passed away, of Saratoga, Calif.; granddaughter Megan Osmundsen of Prairie Village; grandson, Scott Sinclair of Austin, Tex.; step-grandsons Cory Falke of Parsons and Alex Reed of Washington, D.C.; step-granddaughters April Falke of Oklahoma City, OK, Julia Valdez of Saratoga, Calif. and Kim Campbell of Monument, Colo.; four great-granddaughters, and eight great-grandsons.
Cleason graduated from Jetmore schools. His career included working at various grain elevators until moving to Sublette where he managed McCoy Grain for 26 years until retirement. He was a member of the Sublette United Methodist Church, the Pride of Life Seniors Center in Sublette and the Eagles Lodge in Garden City.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 27th at 11:00 at the Jetmore King Center. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Fairmount Cemetery, just SW of Jetmore, KS on US-283.
