Clyde Leslie Williams was born on September 23, 1931, to John A. Williams and Lellah Pansy Davis on a farm outside of Pineville Missouri. He was called home on May 7, 2025. Clyde was the seventh of eight children and spent his childhood on his parents' farm. Clyde graduated from high school, married the love of his life, Savilla (Sue) Williams, and joined the army to serve in the Korean War. Upon returning home from the service Clyde and Sue moved to Joplin, Missouri where Clyde began to work for Coca Cola bottling company. They began a family with the birth of a daughter, Annetta and later a son Leslie. Clyde worked his way up in the company and this caused him to move his family to Wichita, Kansas. Eventually Clyde became president of Wichita Coca Cola until his retirement. After retiring from Coke Clyde and his son began an auto repair shop, Williams and Son, that he operated until 2019 when he officially retired for the last time.
Clyde is survived by his daughter Annetta Albright, son Leslie Williams, granddaughter Denise Lewis (Heath), great grandchildren Jade Lewis (fiancé Austin Jones), Caven Lewis, Ava Lewis, and great-great grandchildren Oaklynn, Arlo, and Naomi Jones.
Clyde was proceeded in death by his parents John and Lellah Williams, wife Sue, brothers, Rama, Arvel, Virgil, Eddie, and Jay Williams, sisters Mary Ann Smith, and Edith Cox, and son-in-law David Albright.
