Constance Diane Flesch Green, of Haysville, Kansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 13, 2026. Born on May 19, 1950, in Wichita, Kansas. Connie lived a life marked by faith, devotion to her family, and a love that extended across generations.
Above all else, Connie loved Jesus. In the early 1970s, she gave her life to Christ and held firmly to her faith throughout the rest of her life. She attended Christian Chapel Foursquare for more than 50 years, where she formed lifelong friendships, taught Sunday school, helped in the church office, and served her church family in countless ways.
Connie was a devoted mother who made sacrifices to ensure her children had what they needed. She showed her love through her actions, always finding ways to care for her family and create lasting memories.
Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She went out of her way to make sure they were cared for and supported, and she made every effort to attend their birthdays, games, events, and special moments. She wanted each of them to know how deeply they were loved.
Connie also cherished spending time with friends, camping, and visiting Arizona. She loved making memories with those closest to her and enjoying life's simple pleasures.
One of the greatest gifts Connie passed down to her family was her faith. She taught her children that even when they didn't know what to pray or say, they could always call on the name of Jesus. She believed He knew their hearts and that they could turn to Him in every circumstance. This lesson remained with her children throughout their lives and will continue to be passed down through generations.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Marlene and Joe, and her son-in-law, Jason Dougan.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, James C. Green; her four children, Stacie (Clint) Padgett, Micah Dougan, Elizabeth Keimig, and Rachael (Dustin) Pope; her 13 grandchildren, Jake, Sarah, Davey, Tylor, Zachary, Alecia, Jazmine, Tah'irah, Abel, William, Wyatt, Caden, and Isabella; her eight great-grandchildren, Landyn, Kingston, Lukas, Amirihanna, Benjamin, Conner, Scarlett, and Caysen; and her siblings, Karen and Joe.
Connie leaves behind a family shaped by her love, countless cherished memories, and a legacy of faith that will continue long after her passing. Her family will carry with them the lessons she taught, the love she shared, and the hope of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Visitation with family will be from 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 20 at Broadway Mortuary. Service celebrating Connie's life will be at 11am, Saturday, November 14 at Christian Chapel Foursquare.
