Dale Parker

Dale Allen Parker was born to Clarence and Lorene Schoeppel Parker on February 27, 1943 in Wichita, Kansas. Though he was born in Wichita, Dale was raised in Clearwater, Kansas. Upon graduating from Clearwater High School, Dale attended Friends University where he studied agriculture. After graduating from Friends, Dale stayed in the Clearwater area to farm for several years. After these several years, Dale felt himself being called into ministry.

Dale walked by faith and followed this calling, and began attending Manhattan Bible College. While attending Manhattan Bible College, Dale would meet the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Stewart. Dale would eventually marry Pat, and the two of them would minister together across the United States. They had stops in Nebraska, Tennessee, and eventually decided to settle in Clarksville, Texas.

Dale and Pat began to raise their family of three children, David, Stewart, and Miranda. After several years in Clarksville, Dale decided to leave the ministry, and became a high school science teacher. However, Dale didn't only serve the community as a teacher; he also drove the school bus, served in the Selective Service, and continued ministering to others (even if not in a formal role).

Once the kids were grown, Dale and Pat relocated to Wichita, Kansas. While in Wichita they became active members of Riverlawn Christian Church. Dale also spent much time enjoying his hobbies of woodworking, agriculture, and studying the bible.

Dale went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023 at his residence. A memorial service for Dale will be on Thursday, January 26, at 2:00pm, at Riverlawn Christian Church. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Lorene Parker. He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Parker; sons, David (Karna) Parker, and Stewart (Jennifer) Parker; daughter, Miranda (David) Dean; siblings, Ann Murray, Hal Parker, and Mark Parker; grandchildren, Kory Parker, Kyle Parker, Colt Dean, Alaina Parker, Sara Dean, and Ella Parker; and great-grandchildren, Landon Parker, and Alora Parker. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Riverlawn Christian Church's Missions Fund. Services by Cozine Memorial Group - Broadway Mortuary.
