“The way I see heaven” 1987

When this body which God has provided for me on this earth slows down and dies, I will
close my eye, bands of angels will be coming down from the heavens to escort my soul “new
body” into heaven, there will be the most beautiful singing and praises going on. When we
reach the heavens, it will be so lovely. Jesus will be waiting with His arms open to me as I walk
toward Him, He will embrace and hold me and tell me how much He has always loved me. Then
we will walk a little bit, and then sit down on this large stump lying there beside a huge body of
the most calm and purest blue water ever seen. Jesus then takes hold of my hand and explains
why everything happened to me while I was on earth and that He was always right there beside
me, watching over, and when I cried He would wipe the tears away, and when I prayed He
would be so happy that I thought of Him, and He always answered my prayers, just that
sometimes I hadn’t recognized them as being answered, because He had different ideas, and I
now can see His plans, it’s so amazing the way he worked everything out to His honor and glory.
In a distance beyond the body of water were trees, trees we have never seen, and the colors
were unexplainable.
After we talked, which who knows how long! (There is no time span in heaven, it may be
years to us on earth)
Jesus stands up and says “Dana, come with me” we start to walk slowly, no we don’t
walk around the water; we walk on the water, I have my eyes fixed upon Jesus’ face, He is so
awesome! Yes, I said eyes, I now notice I have two eyes and see out of both of them. I glanced
down and my body is perfect, He did promise me this I thought to myself, just then Jesus said,
“yes I did, and more.” Nearing the trees and walking through them Jesus is still holding my
hand, I notice a long road, which way off down this road appears to be coming towards us —
four figures. I begin to recognize that they are my mom, dad, brother, sister.
Jesus looked at me and smiled and said “go, run and meet them.” So I did. We all hugged for a
long time. There were no tears of joy! Just a happiness that cannot be explained on earth,
complete happiness! We all walked down this road together with Jesus as our guide, boy did we
have lots to share. Finally we reached this gate, [it] looked like it was made of pearl. The singing
and praising had never stopped but became more intense.
As Jesus came up to the gate it opened, we all followed Him through the gate, the
streets were made of gold, angels everywhere, and mansions afar, as we passed through the
gate, an angel put a robe around my shoulders. I hadn’t noticed I didn’t have any clothing on,
“there’s no sin in heaven” we all bowed down and started praising Him and we joined in the
singing, everything‘s “A New” in heaven.
Wow. I can’t hardly wait… till then I pray!
“Jesus be the Lord of my life.” And when people look at my face, I pray they see You
Jesus.

Amen.

The family would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers during this time.
Dana was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was deeply loved and will be
greatly missed.
