Daniel Kaaz

Daniel Dennis Kaaz, 76, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 21, 2023, in Wichita, Kansas. Daniel was born November 5,1946 in Leavenworth, Kansas. He grew up in Wichita and graduated from East High School. He met and married the love of his life, Delores Guerrero in 1966. A few years later, they moved their family to Cincinnati, Ohio. After spending 40 years in Cincinnati, he and Delores returned to Wichita. They have enjoyed living in Wichita for the past 15 years.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Alice Kaaz; sister Alice Marie Hall; brother Kerwin Kaaz; daughter Patricia Stallworth; two granddaughters, Jazmine Smith and Cynthia Smith; and a grandson Jason Smith.

He is survived by his wife, "Dee" of 56 years, whom he dearly loved and reminded her of this every single day, even in his last days; his daughter Kristi Bryant; sons Aaron Smith, Joseph Smith, Allen Smith, and M. Lee Smith, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. While Daniel will be greatly missed by all, he will be especially missed by his great grandchildren, Rylei, Matthew, and Aubrey whom he was helping to take care of prior to his death. Daniel loved all his family and loved being a grandfather or as they called him "Gramps". He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of life will take place at a later date in Cincinnati, Ohio.
