Darlene Thompson

Darlene F. Thompson, 99, former Beautician and Associated Co., Inc. Quality Control Secretary, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Wichita, KS. Darlene was born February 13, 1927 in Ellis, KS to the late Fred and Minnie Irion. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Isabel Asbell and Cleo Rice; niece, Toni Deason; nephew, Gary Rice and great-nephew David Deason. Survivors include her niece, Cheri Wyatt; nephews, Frank Asbell and Phil Asbell; great-niece, Sheli McCart; great-nephew, Grant Deason; great-great-nephew, Devyn McCart; great-great-niece Gabrielle McCart and six great-great-great nieces and nephews. Darlene sewed a lot, enjoyed nature and being outdoors and loved being in the sun. She will be greatly missed by her family and those that knew her.
