David Gird

David Gird, 59, Licensed A&P Mechanic at Bombardier, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024. David was born October 9, 1965 in Wichita, KS to George L and Helen Gird. David was preceded in death by his son, Justin David Gird; father, George L. Gird; father-in-law, Glennard Rolf; grandparents, George I. and Ruby (Lamb) Gird, George M. and Pearl Beasley Mackay; and niece, Stephanie (Gird) Snell. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Roxann (Rolf) Gird; brothers, Jeff and Steve Gird; sisters, Suzanne Gird and Mary (Gird) Schuster; brothers-in-law, Glen A. (Terri) Rolf and Russell (Stephanie) Rolf; sisters-in-law, Gayle Labrosse and Rhonda (Douglas) DeGeal; mother, Helen (Gird) Keen; mother-in-law, Audrey Rolf; uncle & aunt, Raymond and Gwen Mackay; nieces and nephews, Casey (Gird) Barnaby (Jay), Steven Gird, Trevor (Amanda) Labrosse, Glennard (McKenzie) Labrosse, Sophia (Josh) Guess, Teague Labrosse, Katie Rolf, Julianne Rolf, Laura Zolnekoff; cousins, Brian (Tammy) Mackay and Alan (Brandy) Mackay; and 9 great-nieces and nephews. David will be greatly missed by his family, friends, coworkers and all who knew him.
