David Govern

Govern, David Joseph, 75, retired Beechcraft Crew Chief, passed away September 3, 2016. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday, September 8 and Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Friday, September 9 both at Broadway Mortuary Chapel. Interment to follow at Benton Cemetery. Dave enjoyed auto racing, camping and going out to the lake among many other things. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph and Lucille Govern; and sister, Carol Kula. Survivors include beloved wife, Deborah Govern; sons, Gary (Susan), Danny (Sierra), Travis and Shawn (Melinda) Govern; daughter, Davida Canter; sister, Joann (Jim) Stachura; brother-in-law, Rich Kula; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
