David Price

David Leon Price, 67, surrounded by his family, went to be with the Lord on the 13th of September 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on February 19th, 1956, in Wichita, Kansas, to Ernest Leon Price and Louie May McAllister.

David had a passion for HAM radio and received his first HAM radio license, now known as N5QMM, in 1986. He further pursued his education at Hutchinson Community College, where he obtained an associate in science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology in 1986. Throughout his career, David worked at 3M in Oklahoma and North Dakota. In 1998, he relocated to Austin, Texas, where he dedicated 25 years of service at Motorola before retiring. In 2023, David returned to his hometown of Wichita to be with his beloved family.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Leon Price and Louie Mae McAllister. He is survived by his loving sisters: Ruth Ann Herron, Melinda Price, and Doreen Storment. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Julie Powers, Rebecca Desmarais, Vincent Evans, Rob Storment, Marsha Evans, Chris Evans, and Jeff Storment. David will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
