Deb Evans

Deborah Jean Evans, 72, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Deb spent her working career as a records specialist, serving in this role for multiple fortune 500 companies. After her formal working career, Deb couldn't sit still, and turned her hobby of designing and making jewelry into a business. She would travel the state of Kansas with her husband, Maurice, setting up at various craft shows to sell her hand-made jewelry.

To relax, Deb loved reading. She had no favorite genre, she would read "anything with pages". She would always be playing music in the background, and Deb's taste in music mirrored her taste in books. Deb liked all music, ranging from 1950s-1960s rock and roll and country, all the way to the current day hits. She also found a lot of enjoyment in planting and tending to her flower gardens. Deb also loved creating clothing and textiles with her sewing.

Above all else though, Deb was fiercely loyal to those she loved, which included her husband, Maurice, daughter, Tara, grandchildren, Romeii and Alinea, and her pets throughout the years. Deb would do everything she could to provide for her family, and would go above and beyond when possible to show her love.

Deb was preceded in death by her son, James E. "Jamie" Allison; parents, Paul and Thelma Tilton; and sisters, Reet and Polly Tilton. She is survived by her loving husband, Maurice Evans; daughter, Tara Allison-Hahn (Raymond II); grandchildren, Romeii Hahn, and Alinea Hahn; and brother, Gerald (Lit) Tilton.
