DeWitt Domebo (Pau Tdaw Sape), 64, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Aug. 13, 2026, at Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire.
DeWitt was born to Wallace DeWitt Morton and Lillian Domebo in Lawton, Okla., on July 16, 1962. He grew up in Stecker, USA, and graduated from Apache High School. After high school, he worked in aviation as an inspector and ran his own tile and flooring business for over 30 years. DeWitt was a member of the Kiowa Gourd Clan and was incredibly proud of his Kiowa heritage.
While attending First Pentecostal Church of Wichita, DeWitt served as a youth pastor for several years. There, he met his wife, Linda Bottoms Domebo, and they were married on Aug. 7, 1992. After they were married, DeWitt and Linda attended Shiloh Pentecostal Church of Haysville and served as youth leaders under Bro. & Sis. Clyde Douglas Scott for around 10 years. They celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary shortly before DeWitt’s passing.
DeWitt was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Harry Domebo and Anna Kaulity, and Wilburn and Betty Elizabeth Morton; sisters, Donnelle Domebo, Sharon Heilman and Deanie Eaton; brothers, Louie Stumblingbear and Mike Ray; and father and mother-in-law, Robert and Melvia Withers.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Emily (Kelly Breckunitch) Domebo, Elizabeth (Mark) Sutton, Sarah (Adam) Rivera and Courtney (Corwin) Asher; son, Josh (Daysi) Domebo; brothers, Bud Morton, Rev. Wade Moore and Dean Domebo; sister, Sheri Stanley; Kiowa brothers, Creighton Moore, Cy Ahtone, Mike Tsotaddle, Tim Tsoodle, Terry Ware and Terry Tsotigh; grandchildren, Joseph Ward, Caney and Cash (King Louie) Asher, and Tatum and Reagan Domebo; and grand dogs, Dude and Dobby.
A viewing will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at Broadway Mortuary (1147 S. Broadway, Wichita). Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at First Pentecostal Church of Wichita (1755 E. MacArthur Rd., Wichita).
