Donald Michael Bischoff, 75, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on June 21, 2026.
Born on August 12, 1950, Don was raised in Chatham, New Jersey. As a young man, Don distinguished himself as a star athlete and served as captain of his high school football team. He went on to earn his undergraduate degree in Business from Boston College and an MBA from Syracuse University.
He began his career with Pepsi-Cola, where he worked for ten years in marketing. In the mid 80s, Don moved his family to Ohio where he became VP of marketing for Coca-Cola. Don fell in love with the Coca-Cola brand and remained in the Coca-Cola bottling network. His career eventually led him and his family to Tulsa , Oklahoma and Great Plains Coca-Cola. Before retirement Don served as president of Great Plains Coca-Cola.
Following his retirement, Don devoted his time to serving others as a case manager for Catholic Charities in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His compassion and commitment to helping those in need earned him recognition as Catholic Charities Volunteer of the Year.
After residing in Tulsa with his wife, Lynne, for 24 years, they moved to Wichita, Kansas, to be closer to family. Don spent his final years enjoying time with his wife, children, their spouses and his two granddaughters.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Madeline and Walter Bischoff, and by his sister, Carol Bischoff.
He is survived by his wife, Lynne Bischoff; his son, Matthew Bischoff, and his wife, Amber Bischoff; his daughter, Jen Hendricks, and her husband, Tom Hendricks; and his grandchildren, Phoebe Bischoff and Annie Hendricks.
Don is also survived by his brother, Robert Bischoff, and his wife, Cindy Bischoff; his sister, Susan La Rosa, and her husband, Peter La Rosa; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
