Doris "Carol" Erickson Cross

Doris ‘Carol’ Cross, 75, of Andover, KS, passed away January 7, 2023, following a brief battle with brain cancer. Carol was born February 5, 1947, to parents, Wayne and Doris Winston in Beaver, OK.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Doris, and her first husband Harvey Erickson. She is survived by her brother, Darrell Winston; husband, Larry Cross; children, Kimberly Whiteside and Michael Erickson; 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  A viewing and memorial service will be at Hope Community Church, 1831 E. 21st St., Andover, KS, Tuesday, January 10, at 10am, followed by a graveside service at Friends Cemetery, Rose Hill, KS.  Viewing begins at 9 am. For those unable to attend, the memorial service will be streamed live at https://subspla.sh/6r5n47g. Flowers and cards may be sent to Hope Community Church.   In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Carol’s name (afsp.org).
