Doris Rush

Doris Marie Rush, 98, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Doris was born on January 25, 1928 to parents, Charles and Ella Cowley in Butler, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Dr. Howard Rush; and siblings, Kenneth Cowley, Gerald Cowley, and Opal Armentrout. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Edwin and Beth Rush, Kendal and Tamera Rush, Ronald and Maria Rush; grandchildren, Kerry Bogart, Kendra and Galen Van Allen, Kristen Wooten, Ryan and Joanne Rush, Erica Rush, Jessica Rush, Gina and Dennis Burnett; and great-grandchildren, Addison Bogart, Jackson Bogart, Jaden Van Allen, Bretly Wooten, Bailynn Wooten, Lillian Van Allen, Blaiz Wooten, Harper Van Allen, Maggie Rush, Zoey Rush, Jocco Rush, Olive Rush, Lennox Rush, Jordyn Burnett and Emma Groth.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00pm, Monday, October 12th, at the Cozine Life Events Center. Funeral service will begin at 2:00pm, following the visitation. Burial at Kensington Gardens will immediately follow the funeral service.
