Dorothy Freeman

Freeman, Dorothy Louise “Dottie”, 74, received her eternal reward on November 5, 2016. Visitation with family 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, at The Altar, 321 S. 162nd, Goddard, KS. Celebration of Life service, 10:30 am, Thursday, at Bethel Life Center, 3777 S. Meridian, Wichita. Dottie spent 24 years as Director of Main Place Youth Teen Challenge Center in Kingman, KS where she and her staff ministered to more than 600 at-risk teenaged girls. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Harris. Dottie is survived by her husband, Seth Freeman, Sr.; sons, Marty (Polly) Freeman and Randy (DeNita) Freeman; brother, Thomas R. Harris, Jr.; sisters, Linda J. Harris and Ethel May Ellers; and grandchildren, Todd (Sarah), Amber, Troy, Michael, Noah and Benjamin Freeman. Dottie was also a legal guardian to Ms. Ashley Chaffin.
