Dylan Cole Buettgenbach

Dylan Cole Buettgenbach, 35, of Wichita, Kansas, died on May 14, 2026. Dylan was a beloved husband, devoted dad, son, brother, and friend. More than anything, he loved his family and cherished being a father to his three kids. Whether cheering at soccer games, traveling with loved ones, playing video games, or simply sharing everyday moments at home, Dylan found joy in the people closest to him.

He will be remembered for his loyal heart, kind spirit, steady presence, and sense of humor—especially his dad jokes that brought laughter to those around him. Dylan was someone people could count on, and his love for his family will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

He was a dedicated Greenhouse Manager at Johnson’s Garden Center, where his passion for helping things grow reflected the care and patience he brought to many areas of his life. He had graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Agriculture in Landscape Design.

Dylan is survived by his wife, Jessica Buettgenbach; his children, Eli, Payton, and Cam; his parents, Jill and James Buettgenbach; and his brothers, Austin Buettgenbach (Suzi) and Cody Buettgenbach (Ginny).

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 23 at Hope Community Church, which is located at 1831 E. 21st Street, Andover, KS 67002. The family is asking everyone in attendance to wear sports apparel. Dylan had a strong passion for soccer and K-state sports.
