Eileen Ruth Fessenden

Eileen Ruth Fessenden, 88, of Wichita passed away July 3, 2023. She retired from Wichita Nephrology Group.

Eileen was born February 22, 1935 in Wichita, to Theodore and Helen (Lipke) Lohkamp. She was reared and educated in Wichita, graduating from the Blessed Sacrament High School in 1953.

Eileen enjoyed playing cards with her senior center ladies. She enjoyed the YMCA for silver sneakers. She also enjoyed other hobbies including golf, square dancing, camping, traveling and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard (Dick) Fessenden, two brothers and three sisters, son Jeff Fessenden, and daughter Shari Fessenden.

Survivors include her sons Jon (Virginia) Fessenden of Victoria, TX; Mark (Tonya) Buck of Lubbock, TX; Steve (Duronda) Fessenden of Wichita, KS, and daughters Vicki (Dan) Joza of Kalamazoo, MI; Mona (Larry) Breshears of Wichita; Valerie (Brad) Fessenden of Wichita, KS; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
