Elizabeth Pizinger

September 12, 1935 — March 9, 2018

Pizinger, Elizabeth Ann, was welcomed home by our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 9, 2018 as she graduated from this evanescent world to enter the kingdom of heaven. Ann was born September 29, 1935 in Wichita, KS to parents Milford and Verna Stone. She married her true love, Leonard Pizinger, August 11, 1951.

Leonard and Ann settled into married life in Wichita where Leonard accepted a position with Boeing Aircraft. Boeing gave them the opportunity to relocate to the Seattle, Washington area for a brief time before eventually returning to the Wichita area. They enjoyed 52 years of wedded bliss and were blessed with four handsome sons. Ann moved to Joplin after the untimely death of her husband.

Ann leaves behind son, Dan Pizinger and wife Carolyn of Benton, KS, son, David Pizinger and wife Linda of Joplin, MO, and son, Ron Pizinger and wife Julie of Joplin, MO. She also leaves behind several grandchildren; Sarah Riggs and her husband Justin, Mark Pizinger and his wife Crissy, Mathew and wife Lauren, Rachel Nicholas and husband Dan, Richard Propp and wife Jennifer, Dusty Childers and wife Rachelle, Time Childers and wife Donell, Dominique Pizinger, and Felicia Pizinger.

She also had several great-grandchildren including Liam, Dominic, Corbin, and Wyatt Pizinger, Carson, Katie, and AJ Propp, Tyler and Taylor Barber, Dani, and Sierra Nicholas, and Eli, Joshua, Kyle, McKinzy, and Miranda Childers.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard Pizinger, her son Rick Pizinger, sister Charlotte Young, and brother Mel Stone.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at Broadway Mortuary located at 1147 S. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67211. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at White Chapel Memorial Gardens located at 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, KS 67208.
