Eva Jo was born in Calhoun, Ok on March 5, 1932, during the Depression. She is an only child. The family moved to find work to Oregon, California, Arizona and finally to western Kansas. Jo graduated from Hill City High School. Eva Jo later married the love of her life, Bill Luck, also of Hill City. KS.
