Evelyn June Fleming

Evelyn J Fleming passed away on February 21, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, laughter, and unforgettable style. She was a devoted wife, cherished sister, proud mother, adored grandmother, and treasured great-grandmother - but to so many, she was simply "Mom."

She was never afraid to tell you exactly how she felt. Honest, direct, and real - you always knew where you stood with her. Once you came into her life, you stayed there. She kept in touch with people from every season of her life, whether others understood it or not. Loyalty meant something to her.

Evelyn was incredibly proud of her children. Their accomplishments, their strength, and the lives they built reflected the love and lessons she poured into them. She celebrated their successes, stood beside them in challenges, and carried that pride in her heart every day.

She shared a life full of love and adventure with her husband, Glen. Their marriage was built on loyalty, laughter, and a spark that never faded. Glen always made her laugh and kept her on her toes, and together they kept life exciting.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the light of her life. She celebrated every milestone, offered wisdom in gentle ways, and made each one feel uniquely special. Through shared meals, holiday traditions, quiet conversations, or simple moments spent together, she created memories that will live on for generations.

Evelyn had a spirit of freedom. She loved riding her Harley and truly missed it when she wasn't able to ride. The open road suited her - independent, confident, and unapologetically herself. She loved her tattoos, each one reflected her story, her personality, and her passions.

She also loved looking her best. Before any event, she enjoyed getting a fresh haircut, buying a new outfit, and making sure everything felt just right. She loved having her nails done and made sure they appeared in nearly every photo she took - even if the picture turned out a little blurry.

She absolutely loved her diamonds. To her, they were not just beautiful stones; they symbolized the blood, sweat, and tears she went through to earn them. She wore them proudly, not just as jewelry, but as reminders of her resilience and everything she had overcome.

Her flower garden reflected her strength and beauty. She could grow enormous, breathtaking roses and peonies that you could smell for miles. You could often find her porch sitting, cigarette in hand, watching the neighbors and keeping up with the latest happenings. If something was going on, Evelyn likely already knew.

Evelyn had a nurturing gift that extended far beyond people - animals were simply drawn to her. It seemed as though they would show up on her porch, and without hesitation, she would welcome them in. She tamed wild squirrels, cared for strays, and created her own herd of fur babies. Each one carries a characteristic that reflects her-strong-willed, protective, independent, or lovingly stubborn. Her home was always a safe place, not just for family and friends, but for any creature that needed comfort and care.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rozella Keever her stepfather, Bill Keever; her father, Richard Thompson; her brothers, Ed Dicks and Ernest Dicks; her sister, Carla Sampson; and her grandsons, Logan and Jordan Diedrich.

She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Glen Fleming; her son; Mark Guerrero II (Summer); her daughters; Andretta Bennett and Danielle Cronin (Chris); her grandchildren: Keiera Trower (Kyle), Kane Guerrero, Courtney O'Neal (Chelbie), Shane Guerrero (Ashlie), C.J. Bennett, Topher Cronin (Sharon), Skyler Cronin, and Brentlee Cronin; her brothers, Robert Dicks (Brenda) and Tom Thompson (Mara); her sisters, Emily Allen and Randi Cowdin (Dan); and four great-grandchildren: Kinlee, Kannon, Kasen and Henlee

We invite all who knew and loved Evelyn to hold tightly to the good memories - her laughter, her honesty, her strength, and the lessons she shared so freely. May we honor her by carrying forward her bold spirit, her unwavering love, and her reminder to live life on your own terms. Please share your stories and memories with our family, as each one keeps her presence alive in our hearts. We welcome you to join us for the final viewing as we gather with friends and family to share stories and celebrate her life. While we grieve her absence, we find comfort in knowing her spirit rests with God and is reunited with loved ones. ....... Until we meet again.
