July 6, 1933 — April 17, 2016
Evelyn J. Whitmer, 82, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman; parents, Clarence and Elizabeth Rocker; brothers, Delmar, Virgil, and Vernon Rocker; and sister, Lois Rocker. Survivors include her daughters, Deb Trimble (David), Sharon Macy (Rob), and Cathy Barton (Alden); sons, Bill (Cindy), Rick (Eileen), and Kenny Whitmer; sisters, Edith Sosby (Butch) and Joann Johnson (Leroy); brother, Butch Rocker (Sharon); 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Family Visitation, 5:30 pm, Thursday, April 21, followed by a Rosary Service at 7 pm, and Funeral Mass, 10 am, Friday, April 22, all at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2801 S. Seneca.
