Coop, Gary Mitchell, On Christmas Eve, December 24, 2018, loving husband and wonderful father and grandfather, went to be with Jesus at age 68. Funeral Service will be 1:30 pm, Saturday at Broadway Mortuary. He was born Sept. 23, 1950 in Paola, KS to Joe & Christine (Davey) Coop. He was a member of NewSpring Church and a loyal worker at Spirit AeroSystems. Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years, Anna; children, Jamin, Micah (Chelsey), Abby (Jonathan) Cathey, Jared (Sabra), and Betsy; grandchildren, Cooper, Avonlea, and Sophia; and sisters, Bonnie Berry and Charolette Fleming. Memorials to: NewSpring Church Missions Fund. Services by Broadway Mortuary.
