Gene Calhoun, Sr.

Gene A. Calhoun, Sr., 84, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jessie Calhoun; step-mother, Mildred Jewell Calhoun; and brothers, Baby Calhoun, Johnny Calhoun, and Charles Calhoun. Survivors include his children, Timothy Calhoun (Lily), Misty Calhoun, Grace McCauley, Martha Tausche, John Calhoun, and Gene Calhoun, Jr. (Michelle); 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation hours will be held from 9am-1pm, Friday, Sept. 21, and Funeral Service, 1pm, Friday, Sept. 21, both at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway.
