Spear, Gene E., 84, retired owner and operator of Spear's Restaurant and Food Services passed away October 31, 2016. Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, at the First Evangelical Free Church. Gene is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Nelson Spear; sons, Gary (Linda) Spear of Douglas, KS, Rick (Tonya) Spear and Randy (Carrie) Spear of Wichita, KS; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Botanica Gardens for the Joyland Carousel Project and/or the Gene E. Spear Train Garden. Share condolences at www.CozineMemorial.com.
