Gregory A. "Greg" Simons

Gregory A. "Greg" Simons, 63, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 pm, Thursday, March 2, at Broadway Mortuary, 1147 S. Broadway. Greg was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Calvin and is survived by his wife, Vickie Mitchell Simons; children, Gregory A. Simons, Jr., Sarah Rivera (Adam), Rebecca Akins (Ray), and Cliff Akins (Bryanne); father, Kenneth Simons; sister, Angie Yarbrough; brother, Kevin Simons; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Greg worked as a Press Operator for Cessna for 31 years and was currently employed with POD Print (14 years). His passion was hay farming which he did for over 25 years. He enjoyed taking care of his customers by caring for their animals. He also enjoyed traveling and taking cruises in his leisure time. Share condolences with the family at www.cozine.com.
