Gwen Gordon

Gwendolyn Anita Gordon, 70, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026. She was born on January 19, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York to Walter and Alneda Stevenson. Gwen is preceded in death by her father; and her loving husband, Leo Gordon. She is survived by her mother; her son and daughter-in-law, Cornelius and Sonia Gordon; siblings, Robert "Bobby" Stevenson, Walter Stevenson Jr, Peter Stevenson, Kathy Banks, and Deborah Woods; grandchildren, Carlitos Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Mariana Garcia, Elijah Gordon, Jacob Garcia, Amy Kirk, Angel Kirk, and Isaiah Gordon; and great-grandchildren, Matthew Garcia, Moses Garcia, and Azariah Bryant.

Service celebrating Mama G's life will be at 10:30am, Tuesday, September 15, at Christ Church - Hilltop Campus. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery will follow the funeral service.
